I heard a few mention the "knife" trick to play Backedup games on the PS2. I made a few backups but do not have my chip yet. I wanted to try the knife trick. I understand it can damage the PS2, but can someone explain how its done? Thanks

Dave

I came across a safer method that involved leaving the top cover off the dvd drive and bombarding the console with too many Action Replay codes. You then simply remove the AR2 and replace it with a back-up.

It's where you take a knife, at the "right" moment shove it into the guts of your PS2, twist it for best effect and expect the tray to come out for a swap.

As with all such knife movements, expect your PS2 to die a horrible death.

Something we ought to know Charlie?

At least it would train you how to use a knife good. LOL

I think i will stick to using a Chip rather than the knife trick
