Can anyone help?

I have a PAL v4 neo4 ps2 and have made a backup copy of gt3. I used gta-vc as my high toc original but can't get the backup to work. I have followed the boot up instructions on this site to the letter but still I get a blank screen. I can hear the disc pulse spinning but no game. I use recordnow max as my burning software. I used laser brand dvd-r's as my media. Could this be the problem????? I have used this brand to make a copy of a movie & it works on my ps2. Are games different??????

Have you ever made a successfull PS2 backup with this media?

It could be the media that is causing the problem. Try a high end media such as Verbatim to see if that cures the problem...Some PS2's will play the cheapest media, and some will only play high end media.... Try and see what works for you..

No, I haven't made a successful backup copy as yet. This is my 1st time. As I mentioned b4 the I have made a successful movie copy with the same brand disc but not with ps2 games. Are ps2 games different than movies? Will the media after movies differently to ps2 games?????
