Help M2Pro ?

I have the 1st ver of the m2pro and a v1 ps2 bios 1.0 and ithe chip is installed and the ps2 won't even recognize the chip at all.
Anyone have any similar problem's?:confused:

Not much to go on. Please read the Messiah 2 Troubleshooting Guide at http://www.ps2newz.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4259. it will be one of the causes listed there.

thanks Charlie i was hoping you would reply. Bill from freedom is doing my install and he said that the chip wont even boot ps1 games. He says i need a new ver of m2pro i got mine on the first batch. Any help would be appreciated thank you. He said he went through all the fixes that you had posted.

I thought the first batch (1.07) worked on v1/BIOS 010. I even sent Bill two pre-production versions of those chips and he posted on PS2Newz that they worked.

So who sold it to you and what legend did it have on the back?

It didn't have a sticker on the back it just says messiah 2 w pro written on back in marker . I ordered 10 from mcsales and they were shipped from the uk is shredded the bill of laden. i forgot the exact web addy .Since it was the first batch he said it isn't working on bios 1.0 he says i need a new ver. The chip on the fron says tq 100 0243 ms2 if that helps any.
