Have magic3 (going straight back, messiah 2 instead!!) A lot of the newer games ie. getaway, vice city keep locking up at different points. No probs with older stuff. Do you think that it is down to the magic 3 chip?? Have been told, even by the people who fitted chip, that magic is a lot less reliable than messiah.

Yep..Magic3 is known for symptoms..Such as Kingdom Hearts,GTAVC..Not sure about other games..
It seems like M2pro is the winner..Not that Magic3 is a bad chip or anything but not that great either..Good overall though..:)

do you know a good source for the messiah2 pro?

also, does anyone know if the magic3 causes problems on originals, or just backups?

I've seen the magic3 freeze on a version 5 running kingdom hearts original.

Is Messiah 2 Pro the same as Messiah 2???

The messiah 2 pro is compatible will machines from every country.
The messiah 2 EUR is only for europe machines.

Thanx for that mate. I have made the mistake of getting a magic 3/ps2 but this is being rectified!! If the place i got the ps2 from(Kanections) supply iffy messiah, that will be going back too!!
