dirty originals

still trying to burn ps2 dvdgame using recordnowmax and having trouble. the program is reading the disc with no problems. when i try to burn, i've gotten a frozen computer 2 times ( once at 29% of recording, then at 80%). i used tdk dvd-r both times (now i have 2 tdk coasters!) it was suggested i use rw format. i tried another game, read went fine, but the burn froze the comp. again. is this because my originals are less than perfect (slightly sratched) or am i still doing something wrong? I tried reading at minimum and burning at 1x. i'm using a sonydru500. anything?

Your computer freezing shouldn't have anything to do with your ps2 originals being dirty.

I remember someone posting that their computer would crash when they tried to burn discs. It turned out their pc power supply was only 150 watts, which is way too low.

What ever the problem, I think it's diffenatly your pc, not your games.
