Where can I get...or what is the name of an external MODchip that plays PS2 IMPORTS (JAP & US for my PAL console), and Backups. And of course the original ones.

A chip who doesn't have to be soldered.

Thx.

there is no external mod chip that does not have to be soldered..... there is a external mod-chip callled the neo-key/usb mod(this mod needs 1 wire to be soldered) that can be bought from www.consolesource.com . Also you can play both pal and NTSC version games on the same console with a mod-chip, but you will need to patch your games.

hope this helped you a bit!

now you could get a no-solder mod that goes inside your ps2(no wire to solder)
you can also get this from www.consolesource.com

hope this also helps

Oooh!

No solder at all...sounds interesting.

I'll take a look at it right now.

If you are debating between a neo and a no solder chip, get a no solder. All neo chips kill your laser. Stay away from them.

Yes, Its smart to go with a no swap chip. they really are worth the money, I am sure you will enjoy it.

Unfortunately I don't live in the U.K. but in Luxembourg (near Germany & France) and I was told that the Magic Chip was the non-plus-ultra of MOD-chips...but I want the clip too, to have an easier installation...

Still I don't know what mainboard my console has...where can I look that up(I tried already Modchips.com, but I didn't find my number there...)?
