adding ppf patch

How long it gona take to add ppf patch to image file? I use applyppf3 dos program when i start i can see text:
Patching... reading... then reading... change to writing... reading... writing... reading... writing... reading... writing... reading... writing... reading... writing... reading...:confused:
nothing else dosent hapen.:(
Do i have to wait or is the prog *piip*
