im using recordnow to backup my ps2 games but when i tried my gran turismo i waited and waited but when it got to 98% it wouldnt go any further? Is this usual how long does it usually take to copy a dvd based ps2 game?

Your games either dirty or has a scratch on the disc.

Depends on what speed you burn at. (and what speed your media will support)

1X - 60min
2X - 30min
4X - 15min

These are rough times. It will depend also on the size of the game you are backing up.....

As far as you backup getting to 98%..... Like Tyler said, the original is scratched or damaged in some way...
