some of my games freeze and i dont know why...

i have a magic 3 installed on a v4 ps2 gap.

when i play legend of legaia 2, it freezes at random, usually entering different areas of the game(meaning it never freezes if i just stand there motionless) usually happens after i been playing it for an hour or so.

and also kingdom hearts, it freezes frequently.

would this be related to the chip? the installation? the laser? the dvd disc?

all my dvdrs are princos(hey, im cheap lol)

lots of my other games work flawlessly.

any help is appreciated.

Sounds to me like a media issue. Try using a decent brand of disk, i.e. 'Traxdata' for example. Also, try cleaning your laser aswell, as this will probably improve things a bit more.

Or possibility of the factor of Kingdom Hearts does infect have problems with Magic3..There are 2 games to date known by magic3 to freeze or locking up which are GTA:VC and Kingdom Hearts..But who knows..It could be the laser..
