I dug around on the forum for a little bit and couldn't find the answer to this question, i apologize if I missed it :( Anyway, how do you determine what version of gameshark you have? I searched around on Google a little and someone in another forum said that it was on the CD itself for the gameshark. I checked on the CD and on the inner part of it the only thing I could find was :
"Playstation 2, Gameshark 2, Version 2, Americas 1.99d"
Does this mean I have Gameshark Version 2.0? Or 1.99d?
I'm wondering this since I purchased a gameshark and a no solder mod chip, and then when I was having trouble playing DVD backups the company that sold both to me said that I had purchased version 2, and I needed version 1.9 in order to play the DVD backups. Does that sound right? If I do need version 1.9 is there a good place to buy 1.9 from? I haven't been able to find it on ebay or anywhere else yet since its a older version i'm guessing. Thanks for your time.
