I just brought this drive well my wife got it for me for x mas i want to know is this drive any good to copy back ups
it burn -r/rw and +r/rw
For dvd-r/rw, yes. If you have a v5-v7 ps2 then yes for dvd+r/rw as well. A v1-v4 rarely plays dvd+r/rw

You can get on from circuit city from there online set it up where they will email you when they come in stock

It'll likely be my next drive for the new PC I bought. It has an excellent spec - both -R and +R.

and in then search for the sony dru 500a they will say out of stock then click on email me when they are back in stock

I agree 100% m8, but I'd rather buy from a UK supplier which as yet I havn't found.
