Hi,
I noticed in another topic about this problem, not too much on how to fix tho.
I installed my messiah, it all went in fine apart from the cpu wires, which were a pain in the ass to get the soldier to stick.
Install is complete, ps2 didnt "blowup" upon pluggin into the wall. But all I get is a black screen, no sound.
Pressin reset flickers the screen?
Thanks

That's right. You'll have either:
1 bridged some solder points
2 failed to put some cables back properly or they are damaged
3 mis-installed in some other way

Thanks for your help, trustee multimetre detected a short circuit between pin m and n.
Menu loads now, discs unreadable, all types. Checkin again

Same reply as before. Hidden solder balls behind the pins.
Probably.

Tested with a multimetre, all pins appear to go to correct place for version 3 (scph-30003) and no shorts between pins. Have access to microscope, havent located solder balls or bridges behind legs.
Will repeat checks again today.
