I have searched and found that most in the US recommend either Verbatim or TDK. However, I have come across several reviews on Prime Disc media by Ritek and have found a lot of people that are extremely happy with it, and have had much luck regarding the PS2. Plus it is really cheap.

Any thoughts?

The Gen 3s are supposed to be like Traxdata. So yes they are good.

If the PrimeDisc are like the gen 3 Ritek which are like Traxdata then go with the PrimeDisc. Some people have bad luck with Princo.

I have both..... The Riteks have the same dye as Traxdata.... They are flawless.... The Princos are a lighter purple, but they work well on my machine also....

Be careful when buying Riteks, they make about 8-10 different dvd-r's..... Some are AWESOME, but others SUCK.... Make sure you trust who you purchase from....

Can't seem to find any PrimeDisc's that aren't double-sided. Any pointers to regular ones or a decent shop for the Gen3s?

These are the ones that should be correct. Can anyone double check and verify?

That "appears" to be the same ones I use..... As long as the discs in the picture are of the actual product....
