Magic 3 With Clip

Has anyone tried a magic 3 with the clip? Has it been successfully?
What are peoples views on this?

From what I understand Magic 3Clip isn't that great..
Maybe it was just the solderer/installer didn't know what he was doing perhaps but who knows..
Overall I say get the Badboy installed freely itself without the clip.
