e-mail charlie_ps2 or dust2dust on this forum through their profiles, they have Messiah 2 ready for immediate despatch, and can also point you in the right direction for installs.

Thanks,

but ive already got somewhere lined up, they do it at a monthly computer fair round here. I just want too know if my PS2 will be ok before i go, cos ive read on here bout some havin dodgy lases etc. I dont want to have to go all the way up there only to find out it cant be done

Dont want to bother charlie_ps2 or dust2dust as i wont be buyin off them

You should have a V4 PS2..... Yes it can be done.....Although some V4's lasers were not the best...

What mod chip are you getting??????

my advice... :)

do your homework on modchips, what they look like/whether they direct boot or not/known problems etc.

I've been to a couple of computer fairs in the UK where the guys there (fair play to them they only installing what they have got) have tried to pursuade people to have Neo2.2 or Neo4 chips installed. Make up your mind what modchip you want (Messiah or Messiah 2 :D ) and stick with it.

Dont let them install anything unless you are 100% sure that is what you want.

Sounds like this could be harder than i first assumed...

From reading around the most popular mod chips seem to be messiah 2, and magic 3. I'll have to make sure their gonna be putting one of those in then (preffribly messiah 2), because i definatley want a no-swap one.

Does anyone know any where in the North / Northwest of england that does it, because i dont really want to sending my PS2 away if these fair guys cant do well enough
