cd crack wont work

i got the cd crack and it only works on one of my computers(the dell) but not on my custom built one. how can i make it work? i reinstalled the game at least twice but the game wont launch.

You should buy the Original and not a backup copy.

Sollte das Spiel nicht starten, weil man zuvor die Bild-
wiederholrate mit nvidiaRefreshTool (nur bei XP) geändert
hat, einfach in der \settings\VideoDefault.con den Eintrag
"renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 0" auf
"renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 1" ändern.

War's das?
