converting cd (wav) to mp3

What is the easiest way of converting normal audio cd files to mp3 format.

I am new to this so easy on the technology please :)

find topic md to mp3,there is a thorough explanation,and saves me a lot of typing.

I would use Dbpoweramp for converting,so you can convert all files simultaniously.
