Hello,
I have a ps2 and i'd like to know if there are games you can play with without the chip. There are a lot of copies .rar .bin .ace on a site and i want to know if i can use them without a chip.

I don’t think you can. That’s what the modchip allows you to do, is boot the backups (AKA copies).

I bet charlie_ps2 would be able to have a different answer on this.

it is possible to boot games without a modchip,but it involeves stuffing something into the ps2 and wiggling it around everytime u want to boot a game,most people end up screwing there ps2 up
