Hey, where can I buy DVD-R 4X media to use with the Best All Around Burner (Sony DRU-500A), I know BG it isnt an A05, but where can I buy this media or when??

I'm ALWAYS on AOL.... Are you sure you have my screenname in your buddy list correct? (Makave2345)
And if you have Microsoft Messenger my contact name is: (Makave2345**********com) so you can add that one also..

Anyways..... 4X media is still hard to find right now in retail stores... I purchased some from e-bay.... You can find them there. They are about twice as expensive as 2X media, BUT DAMN..... Its GREAT to burn a PS2 game in 15min....:D

i was looking on EBAY and say a bunch of 4x media, the price isn't too bad. But what Brand??

Also, i feel the dvd-r verbatim disks are pretty loud. I have a V7, can i read DVD+R/RW DVD-RW?? IF i can, will the be quieter??

BG and Tyler have had their best burns using dvd-rw and dvd+rw. Give it a shot.

NO... He's not kidding... My machine LOVES the DVD-RW discs... They have a tendency to be quieter than my -R discs.....
Although as Dust said, media will have a great deal to do with it...
The DVD-RW disc that I use is a Verbatim.....(I only use it to test, but at least I know they work)
