Usb port help?

Hi...can anyone tell me... what brand/type of usb keyboard & mouse to look for so it can be used in my ps2...(I'm suffering playing Timesplitter and quake using gamepad)

Can a usb microsoft intelliexplorer mouse works?
ANd is there any alternative to ilink 2 console ussing usb port?
Or is there any cheap Ilink cable outhere?

I would get an Interact brand keyboard. Lik-sang (www.lik-sang.com) sells an Ilink cable for $6. Not sure if an intelliexplorer mouse will work. I would imagine any mouse will do.
