Ok, first of all instead of trying to burn them on CD-R(W), I used..."tools" to mount each iso to drives G and H. Then I went to install from the G drive, which was the first CD. It asked for a certain number, which I supplied, then it asked all the folder install info, blah blah blah. Then it started to install, but it unfortunately it began to supply CRC probs for the following files:
..\Battlefield 1942\Archives\sound.rfa
..\Battlefield 1942\Archives\font.rfa
..\Battlefield 1942\lexiconall.dat
..\Battlefield 1942\bf1942.exe
..\Battlefield 1942\Movies\intro.bik
..\Battlefield 1942\Archives\BF1942\Levels\battleaxe.rfa
...Now I clicked ignore for them when it told asked me to retry, abort, blah blah, but I know that they would not install because the installation couldn't verify them (I think) with the cab file.
I have i6comp, but I don't know how to use it and I certainly don't know much about cab files. I tried to extract the files from the cab (can you do that?) using i6comp so I could manually put them in the install dir, but I was only met with a message that it couldn't open data1.hdr! WTF? It states that it is a cab file.
Please help someone, I am not battling in 1942!
