View Full Version : Look here before you mod
I,ve made a little lever thats fits under the tray, that,ll let you boot backups with only a game shark, works great, tested on all models, e-mail me if interested
Cool.... It may work great.....
BUT.... You still have to SWAP..... YUCK...:(
I'll stick with "direct boot".....
BUT good luck with your "lever" sales.
I have know people to use plastic knives, credit cards and finger nail files. No matter what you use or invent its still called the knife swap and will eventually screw up the drive.

I have got this dope new method for booting back-ups all u need is a electric drill fitted with a large Drill bit, a hacksaw blade ( to saw the side off ur ps2) 4 long peices of fishing wire, some sticky backed plastic and two wads of chewing gum
works great... no gameshark!
I swear it works man!
WOW elkayps2.... Could you tell me how you do it.... I really want to try......LOL :o :p
Well, Sorry if I insulted some of you jarheads, but not all of us have 60.00or70.00 dollars to spend on mod chips, So I try to help some people out with some thing that works, Unlike some of you posting lame tutorials...........
WOW.... Jarhead..... I resemble that remark...... (Nice one)
The tutorials are posted to help people...... (OH... and they WORK)
If you don't like them..... FINE... Don't read them....
BUT alot of people on the forum appreciate the tutorials.....
If you don't have 60 or 70 dollars for a mod chip... I'm sorry..... :(
BUT instead you would rather take a chance on screwing up a 200 dollar PS2?

i used to have to swap it was so annoying it would take forever to read gs NO SWAP RULES ALL!
Yeah, well those 'lame' tutorials have helped alot of others. It's amazing me the time and effort people will spend trying to inventing some LAME tool that ultimately screws up the PS2 rather than buy a chip, i mean you came up with the money to buy the PS2, the GS2, the computer, the cdrw, the dvd-r burner even managed to afford the internet so they could find this site and bug the hell out of us but are to CHEAP to buy a chip. Talk about lame.
Anyway keep up the good work with the tutorials guy's, just because he doesnt appreciate them doesn't mean the others dont.
