Ps2 V5,6 & 7

i heard v7 has problem reading is this true and should i get a V6 instead?

More v7s have laser problems when installing a no-swap modchip than was the case with v5/v6.

But it's not woprrying. If you can get a v6, new, fair enough - take it.
