hey guys, im having a problem copying the image for one of my games, im pretty sure i know what the problem is but hear me out, im trying to copy my Metal Gear Solid 2 game, and i get to 88% when im burning the image, and then everything stops and says theres errors, now it only does it to this game and a couple of others, but i only think it stops because there is a copy protection on it, .. so my question is , how do i know what file to remove so it can finish reading the global image therefore i can make a backup copy.. ( i believe that if i know what file to delete, meaning the copy protction file, it will finish reading the image for the game) .. if you guys would please help me with this problem and tell me very clearly what to do so i can get rid of the copy protection file so i may be able to mak a backup of my game, thnks a lot

From the details you have specified it sounds like your original is damaged. Try copying from a different original, and for future reference DVD Games are NOT copy protected. Hope this helps...
u said ur having same probs on a few others have u used the primo update try that it might sort it it out for u as its prob getting to 4gb and wont go no further but with the primo update it splits the files into max of 2 gb but when u load the gi file back to burn use the file with out the brackets with the numbers in hope this helps

ok, i downloaded the patch and everything worked great, it read the game fully, but now when you have to write the game ,, as soon as its about to write a pop up appears saying " this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" .. and now because of this everything gets shut down and i cant write the game.. what should i do now.. i already reinstalled everything twice and it still is saying that.. is there anythng that will turn that pop up off or something, if you can think of anything please tell me, thanks again or your other advice

I had the same problem with Primo DVD 2.0 copying Mortal Kombat, Vice City and a few other titles. I switched to Stomp Record Now Max and it works and copies just fine. The sofware layout is easy to understand because it is almost identical to Primo.
