I'm pretty sure somebody somewhere already asked this, but I don't seem to find it so I'll ask again... is there a way to play burnt discs only with a gameshark 2 for boot disc? I mean, w/o mods and all...

YES there is.......
(Just make sure you have a second PS2, so you can still play when you screw the first one up)

If you don't want to invest in a mod chip, don't play burned games... That is the best bet...
