Upright Only!

Can anyone tell me why most (not all!) of my DVR-R backup games will only boot with my PS2 in the vertical position? Traxdata disks, Primo Prassi, stand-alone Messiah mod chip.

Usually this is a sign that the laser is dirty or starting to weaken.

Thanx, used cd cleaner, much better.
Still can`t get Star Trek Voyager to boot atall, goes into browser, click here and screen goes black then back to browser again.
Tried 2 copies on different make disks both the same.
Any ideas??

Did you recieve any errors reading the disc?? Is it a direct backup or a rip??

No errors reading disk, direct backup..

That may just be a case of a simple bad burn. Try reburning.
