I don't know wether I'm spelling it right. Do you still have garantee if you open up you're ps2. I'm going to put in a no solder mod. I still got 2 years of garantee, so I wanna make sure.

If you open up the case on the PS2 the warranty is void.

The modchips may be legal but the warranty is still void. If you open up your ps2 that is.

That may be a sort of "what came first the chicken or the egg" problem.

Since removing the case voids your warranty but then adding a modchip doesnt. Who knows.

the simple fact is law states u can mod your console and your warranty is good :)
i think only thing sony could do is then try to blame the mod for the damage

use a decent mod it will do no damage
