View Full Version : What's the best place to buy a pre-modded ps2?

I'm in the US and want a no-swap mod chip that plays everything.
I've got an older ps2 and figured it would be easier to buy a new pre-modded one and sell my old one.
I've looked around on the web a bit and found a couple of places, but most only sell chips. I figured you guys would know all the reputable ones.
Also, do most of the new ones play DVD+R or is it just a crap shoot?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Can you buy a PRE-MOD PS2 from them? Because I don't see any mention of it on there web site.
I'm not looking to get one installed in my exsisting ps2, I'm trying to by a new ps2 with a mod chip already built in.

Do not buy from hackershardware.com. They Shiped it a almost 4 weeks after I bought it and it didn't work! I emailed them to return it and have still (3 weeks!) not heard from them!!! The worst of all time!
