Civ3, PTW v1.04f crack question

I downloaded and ran the no cd crack for Play the World and the menu options are all messed up. You have to guess which one is which. In the game all the words are wrong. Like gold is cancel and when you are in a golden age it says you have no cities left. Is there anyway to fix this or do i just have to live with?

This sounds like a mismatch between the cracked executable and your installation. Try a complete reinstall, patch up to 1.04 and see if that works WITHOUT the crack applied. When that works, try the crack. When that doesn't work, come back here and we'll put our finest minds on it (when we find some :D)

ya, i didn't upgrade to 1.04 before i used the no cd thing. after that it worked. Thanks for the help
