Why cant i find any info on this chip besides here as in place that are selling them?

Hang on a minute someone I know has just had one fitted, has he been conned and had another type of chip fitted or have they been available 4 some time.

I'm gonna send the results inc pics to charlie_ps2 if he gets it back before the 20th. I respect his knowledge and views and everyone on this forum.
