You should post in english, then more people will be able to help you.
Have you contacted tech support? Theyre the ones you should ask in cases like this.
I don't understand what the guy said either but I do have the same prob. What is MSXML 4.0? It keeps showing that I don't have this thing installed properly in order for the game to run.

You can find a MSXML 4.0 install here (http://xmlwriter.net/msxml.shtml). I can't test it, but tell us if it works. And why does AOM need it ? My guess is it's bloody Microsoft, who seem to be on a crusade to put XML everywhere.
This is not good. Next thing you know were gonna need some other programs that has to be downloaded in order to play a game...sheesh. Either way, I'm downloading it. Gotta start from the XMLwriter first...I think. Tell you guys later if it works. Thanx.
I can install XMLwriter but I couldn't install MSXML 4.0. An error keeps showing up no matter how many times I download the thing. It's the first game I've encountered this prob, and I hope it's the last. Well...into the shelves AoM...for now...

If it doesn't work, maybe you'd better get over to the official ensemble forums and make some noise. After all, they sold you a game that just doesn't work and I'd expect some kind of solution from them.
Edit : I just installed msxml4.exe on my system. No error messages, but then I can't run the game to test if it now works. Tell me, what kind of error did it give ? Oh, and XMLWriter is not needed, it's an application that uses msxml 4.0 too. Just download msxml4.exe and run that. Tell me about any error messages you get, my install went flawlessly.
I just realize that the MSMXL 4.0 .exe is also included in disk 2 of the game :p But when I want to install it, it gives an error code 2352. Do you know what it is?
Oh, and I think the 'I don't understand what the guy said either' above also have the same error code.

According to this article (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;299775) it may be a "cabinet.dll" that's missing or corrupt. This is a dll that's used to decompress the setup files. You can find a setup that includes it here : instmsi.exe (http://download.microsoft.com/download/winntsp/Patch/1.11.2405/nt4/en-us/instmsi.exe). First search for the "cabinet.dll" on your hard disk, then rename it to something else, finally run the instmsi.exe and try to install msxml4.exe again.
Ok...I found the cabinet.dll. I ran the instmsi.exe without renaming the cabinet.dll and 'wrong OS or OS version for application' pops up. Is it save to rename the cabinet.dll to let say...wassup.dll and then ran the instmsi.exe? For your information, my pc was attacked by a virus recently and after I've formatted the hard disk, I've installed Windows 98 SE without Microsoft Office. I just use the pc for playing games. Could it be that the msxml has problem installing because I don't have Microsoft Office installed?

I think the problem is that you don't have the right version of Microsoft Installer. Have you tried updating your pc online ? You know, using "Windows Update" ? I think I remember something about Installer in one of those patches, just have a look online, it's probably a fix that you can install. I don't think there's really any other way to solve this, just update your pc with "windows update", get all critical fixes and everything mentioning "microsoft install". And if this pisses you off, you know where to complain :
[email protected] :D
Ok...I'll try that. Thanks! :)
