Has anyone tried the brand name Optodisc

does it work???

what would be the best/cheapest disc that i could get?

not tried that media

if you are in UK, you cant go wrong with Traxdata, myself and dust2dust use them with no problems.

I've tried one and it wouldnt boot,that was my first ps2 burn,now I only use Verbatim and all boot.Use good media it makes a difference.

Since your in the USA.....

If you have a CompUSA in your area you could try their own brand...
The CompUSA brand DVD-R's that I have work perfectly...I've used them for PS2 games DVD movies and they have never failed... They are also priced well....:cool:

I just ordered a 10 pk of TDK DVD-rs from jandr.com for $31 shipped... a fair price i think.

You can usually get a 10 pk of the comp usa brand for around 20 bucks...
A even better deal would be Princo's.... You can pick up 100 of them for around 70-80 bucks.....
Some people have had problems with Princo, although they play perfectly on everything I have.....You might want to pick up a few of them first and try them before you go out and buy a 100 of them...:cool:
