Hi, im new the forum and i have a quick question. I wanted to know if or where i could find a ripping kit for GTA: Vice city, or if one even exists. Also, if there is one since its a dvd game could you rip it to go on a cdr if not, its not a big deal i have a dvd burner. i went to http://ps2modz.cjb.net/ but i could not find it anywhere, if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Why would you want to rip it if you have a dvd burner :confused: Just do a straight copy.

I use nero and it says dvd copyrighted and halts the burn,
Do you know of any other program that would straight out copy a dvd ? i have a hp200i dvd writer

ooh one more thing i my dvd writer only supports up to 4.7gb so im not sure if it would work, any suggestions? :)

Yes it will work. Nero doesnt work with all games. PrimoDvd is best. You can download it here (cdrsoft.cc) . Click on downloads on the left then do a search for primo.

By the way, what version PS2 do you have.... Since your burner is a dvd+r drive (and not a dvd-r) you may have problems booting the disc..... If you have a V5 or above you may be ok....

hey BG i have a version 5 I if i remember correctly, im not at home right now. I do know that it is a new version. I hope it can boot with my ver of ps2. Hey bighap thanks for the info on the burning software :D im going to test that out today and see if it works in my ps2, i'll let you guys know if it works.
