.DOM for Instant Action

Hi. I just downloaded the cache manager and copied some of the maps to "permanent". I noticed that a lot of the maps don't show up when I select "instant action" and that's probably because they are .DOM and not .DM.

Question is, can I use .DOM for "instant action"? If not, where can I use them other than online???
