hmm.. :-/ i see

i download this file "DC SelfBoot Kit - CDRWIN/BIN2BOOT/AutoDummy" and it seem easy to make. but one thing ... what is a DUMMY FILE? ... i don't think i need it. but it's good to kno.w

Use BIN2Boot GUI v0.1 beta [http://www.megagames.com/dc/files/b2b_gui01b.rar] I used this program yesterday to make Fur Fighters a bootable game (which it wasn't at first) and it worked excellent. The game boots on his own now without trouble and everything is working like it should. And with the GUI version it is very easy to handle.

It works if you don't forget to binhack all other bin files containing "CD001". Use "internet fixer" if you don't know how to do it manually.

what offset i nned use (11702 or 0)
How re-selfboot game with bin2boot? If a have selfboot game me need again binhack bin file on not?

what offset u use depends on the selfboot
methot you want to use
if you use the echelon way you use 11700 or
11702,that depends on your burner /software
and only in case there is no cdda
try it out, use the selfbootkit 3.5

if you want to use bin2boot you have to
chosse an offset of 0

note:
the echelon way and all other methods fail
if there is more than one file to be patched.

read back in this forum to get help

before i make selfboot with selfbootkit 3.5 work good for me.
and trying with bin2boot no luck. (not path bin)

A dummy file is used basically blank space. The dummy file is used to put in area that is slower to read. It makes the disk faster because the data is in faster area. Nero can do this just by setting priority of data low for dummy and high for rest.

so do i need the dummy file if i use the BIN2Boot GUI v0.1 beta?
it tells you to drag and drop the file and it will become a selfbootable. ??
