Hey, I just wanted ask you, where you preordered the PIONEER DVR-A05 DVD-R/RW? Cause I want to buy a DVD-RW drive. I found a few websites selling the bare drive already for no less than $325 US Dollars. So where did you preorder yours and around how much should they cost?
I also been looking at the Sony DRU-500A it also burns DVD-R at 4x, and the price is $350 Dollars. Which one do you think is better?

I purchased mine off of e-bay.... I have to agree with Dust on this...
The Pioneer has been a proven winner on the PS2 scene.. I would stay with Pioneer...:cool:

As far as what the prices will be in the store.. I have no idea....
You can get them on e-bay for $329.00..... I'm sure it will be alot higher in the stores though....

The Sony DRU-500 drive is already confirmed to work with PS2.
