Hi fellas,i have a question to ask;

I have burned an iso of TOEJAM and EARL III with PrimoDVD.

I have a tv wich screen turns blue when theres no input signal.

Now when i boot my xbox with the backup,i see the xbox opening scene,but when its gonna load the game my screen turns blue,although i can hear my xbox loading the intro movies and stuff like that.It never happened before,so i am quitte curious of what happends here.

If any1 nows,please share the knowledge.

Thanks in advance

Do other games work? If not. then it is your video cord. If other games do work, then the iso image you have is probably corrupted in some way or was copied wrong. I never heard of this problem , but nothing like this ever resulted from a bad burn, usually cables or hardware. If this problem becomes more common, then the answer to fix it will be brought out sooner.

Thanks for the reply Quall999.Yes,all other games do work.Its strange however,coz i burned a rip of that game and that one also gives the blue screen after boot.U brought me to an idea though.I use the scart adapter where i pugged te red,white and yellow plugs in.Maybe a real scart cable will help ?

I don't think it's the cable. If any other games other To Jam and Earl worked, then the cable should be fine. Sry, I don't think I can help you on this. This is the first I've heard of the problem.

Could it be a problem of trying to burn a PAL iso for an NTSC television or an NTSC iso for a PAL television???

hmm, i never thought of that. Now that you mention it, that might be the problem.

That should be the problem.At least,it does make sense.

Back in old times,on my psx i had a pal booster,wich made me play ntsc on my pal television with my modded psx.Is there anything like that for xbox?

looks like the problem just got more common, with TS2.

Yup, it's the region settings.
http://www.megagames.com/console/cgi-bin/dl.cgi?id=xbox&file=video_select_v2!rar
for the video mode converter. But beware, your xbox will boot in the mode you select untill you change it back.

Also, your t.v. must support the other region tv settings. (most PAL t.v.'s do.)

If you have x-ecutor, then you shouldn't need to change anything. You get the blue screen because your t.v. doesn't support the other region. I have just rescently found this out.
