I am pleased to inform the forum that I have obtained two pre-production Messiah 2 chips and will be testing one this weekend in a US v7 (GH-019) all being well with the install.

The other will go into a Jap 15000 - which might not work because the developer hasn't worked to that BIOS - but we'll see. He says it'll work in the 10000.

We have tried a Pre release sample of the Messiah 2 in a V7 PAL console and found that it worked almost flawlessly , but with complicated boot sequences - not a direct boot. Also All region DVD movies did not play in colour on the Pal TV.
No improvement at all over our other PAL V7 chips!!!
We will be trying the chip in other PAL consoles as time permits.
