Anyone experiencing crashing with Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2??

Hi,

I got a pentium 3 1 Ghz with Geforce 4 graphics card (tried 28.32 and 30.82 detonators) and Winme... Every time I start the game in hot pursuit mode, the game crashes to the desktop in the first few seconds of starting the race.

THen I get an 'unknown' error, and can't restart the game again without re-booting (says it can't initialize the graphics).

This happens with the deviance crack and also using the Gimpsus no-cd crack =(

There is a crack by Immersion, that seems to be working for peep with ur kind'a problems.. have no working link though...
if u have some place where i can up it plz reply :)

i had this same problem, was weird cause quick race worked fine. turned out to be a bad disk.
