Everytime I want my sim to eat something in the city , then he doesn`T, and if i click "abort", then he doesn`t abort eating.
Then i click him to walk to another bar oder restaurant, but no, he stays where he is.
Why stands my sim boringly in the city and doesn`t do what I want?

maybe he's just pissed off with being a sim....tell him you are going to delete him....see him respond

Yes of course I wait, but the game often shuts down, what can I do? I also have the orignal CDROM in the drive, and the sims never shut down, ONLY when I go in the city....

You misunderstand what I say. I know how to play that game but it chuts often down, and that is my problem.

well install the latest patch from www.thesims.com
and your graphic drivers

I still have that patch installed, but it doesn`t work yet.

Nothing Help, I can put the CD in the ROM, I can install updates, I can crack it, but alway when I go in The SIms Hot Date in the city, the game aborts.....what can I do ?
