i was trying to backup my copy of nba shootout 2003 for psone and when i tried to play the copied disc, everything worked out fine for the intros but when it attempted to go the main screen, the screen with the red circle and the "system has been modified" showed up. i'm kinda new to this patching stuff.. so if anybody can help me out with this, please post. much appreciated.. thanks

there is no protection fix for nba shootout 2003 so u will either have to find a gameshark code, get a new modchip or fit a switch to your old modchip to turn it on and off!!

well, what i use is the ps-x change 2 disc swap. i don't have a modchip in my psone system. do you know what i can do? and where i can find stuff to fix this?

the only way u will get around this is to find a action replay/gameshark anti mod code!

u can enter the code using your psx change.
is your version of nba shootout uk or us?
if u dont know then put the disk in a pc drive, open the root folder and look for a file named sles or slus.
if it's sles it's uk,if it's slus it's american!

i have the us version. it says on the box of the ps-x change that it can also function as a gameshark but i have yet to find out how. please shed some light on how i can bypass the security. thanks
