Controller doesnt work all the time....

I got a Madcatz dual shock controller for my PSX last year. Since i got my PS2 that controller only works on certain games. It does fine on pacman fever, tetris. But when trying 2 people on smugglers run, midnight racing the controller wont work. Didnt know if its primaryly a pSX controller. any ideas?

Could well be. If I were you then I would get another official controller. I went to a computer market at the weekend and I saw an official controller for an amazing £10.00! Couldn't believe it. Just get another official one. However, if you want, you could try cleaning out the ports on the PS2 and the plugs on the controller itself. This might work as I used to have an old Sega Saturn (I know, I know!) but I had to do this quite regularly as the ports on those things were badly designed and they used to collect lots of dust. So there are two options for you. Let us know how you get on...
