I have installed the X-ecuter mod chip flawlessly...I am running the NEWEST version of the Evolution X dashboard. I sucessfully FTP'd into the XBOX with the STORE BOUGHT version of NFL2K3 in the DVD Drive of the XBOX. I SAW all the files and dragged them to my PC. There were 2020 files totalling nearly 3.15GB. When I copied them to a folder on the XBOX...the game launched fine. BUT...when I used XISO to create an ISO and used RecordDXNow to burn the ISO (I tried DiskJuggler 4.0 and NERO too) the damn thing keeps going back to the Evolution X dashboard. (Game WON'T load!!)

What did I miss? If anyone has backed up this game (or others) but especially THIS ONE, please let me know HOW you did it. I have followed the instructions STEP BY STEP and can NOT get the game to play. I am using PREMIUM DVD-R (Verbatim Datalife Plus) and ALL the games I downloaded in the newsgroups play FINE!

HELP!

Appreciate it.

I was having problems with it myself. But i just brought the new sony DRU 500 DVD+-RW drive and none of my programs will see it as a recorder (NERO, PRASSI )So I had to us the program that came with it. The only problem is that it will not let me burn ISO' only files from my hard drive. So i had to turn my XBOX ISO's back into the regular files to burn them. Burning them this way works no need to make ISO's All my games extracted great except NFL 2K3 and a few others I was having problems with. I think the ISO tool kit corrupted the data when making the ISO's. I don't have the riped files from the original any more. I only have the corrupted ISO. GOOD LUCK:cool:

Don't, I repeat DO NOT use XISO ever again. It worked on 1 backup for me, then frisbee'd constantly. Just use RecordDXNow, make a new data cd, and select ALL of the files from the game. It will burn it just fine. Its worked a number of times for me. Everywhere I have read lately says XISO is crap and making an ISO is needless most of the time.

I had a problem using xiso too. I tried to backup nfl2k3 twice with x-iso and it didn't boot. I just copied the files and it now boots! I used Record Now with the pioneer Ao4. X-iso would not work with Chase hollywood stunt driver either. Got it to boot up by just coping the files too! I was wondering if anyone else has stoped using X-iso too or is thier is somthing better?

I thought that this was the problem I just posted a new thread about this just before I read this fellas. Great Minds think A like. Maybe just a lot of trial and error. :) Take care.
