What is some good PS2 backup media? I hear bad things about the Princo media. Is meritline good media? what about the optodisc media. Please let me know which media. Will this media work good for backing up DVD movies? thanks a ton

If you can get them Traxdata or White Label are best cheaper media, otherwise Verbatim/TDK etc.

Not sure about sites in US

There is one thing you might consider.. Try using the "Comp USA" brand from Comp USA..... I have 10-12 backups on these DVD-R's and they ALL play perfectly....And they a relitively CHEAP.... :cool:

Went to Compusa.com and couldnt find any Compusa brand dvd-r . Found other brands.

is this 'blankdiskshop' reliable cause i wanna buy dvd's from them but the prices seem too cheep.

£1.10 for traxdata dvd-r's seems alittle cheep cause the forums always recomends them for ps2 'backups'

So reliable in fact, trading standards are now going to ask for my replacement Cd-rom!

Bought some Verbatim and they work perfect. Boot everytime. One time i did find out was that 2 of the crappy Memorex DVD-Rs did boot if i laid my PS2 flat and would not if it was in the vertical stand. Verbatim all the way!
