APPLE R version installation HELP!!

i installed the apple R into my ps2 (v30001R), but when i powered up the machine - the power light is on, but the eject button didn't not work, so i can't open the disc. The screen is also black-only the fan is working. Finally, i desolder everything, but it still has the same problem.

anyone know how to fix this shit!!! please help!!!!

Easiest way to fix that problem is return it to the shop! if you've had it a while, buy another & take the old one back to the shop in the new packaging & tell them it never worked!

You end up with 2 working consoles, but at least there is small ads.
