I must be doing something wrong but i dont know what! :( Charles - Recently just got my ps2 from you. i bought a 110v-220v converter (100 watts) and pluged in the pal plug to the converter then plugged in my converter to my wall. (converter is turned onto 110v - i live in California) Nothing is working, the ps2 wont come on but the converter is on. Any suggestions? Do i not have the right converter perhaps or what? on the pal plug with the ps2 it says 250v that just means maximum right? I thought i was ok with everything i bought but it wont come on. I dont want to ship it back and there is nothing wrong with it and im doing something wrong that would suck. Any suggestions Charles or anybody else? I have a Scph-3004 R ps2 with messiah. need help baaaad thanks people...

You said the convertor is turned to 110V...That would be the problem......The convertor has to be on 220v......The PS2 you have requires 220v to operate.....So if you have it set on 110V, its not enough.....The 110V comes from the wall socket...... Set the convertor on 220V (that should be the output) so it sends 220V to the PS2.......
