Read Disc Error [Archive]

Hi all,

Did anyone here encounter a "read Disc Error"??? I have a no-mod ps2 since January and this is the first time ever happening to me! can someone please help? greatly appreciated:-)

Is the disc that you got the message a Original, or Backup. Is it scratched up. If its a backup, has it worked before?

I have a no-mod ps2
Is that a no solder mod or do you not have a mod chip?
