For an A04 its a great price, but its a 104. You can get one for between $130 and $140 at several online retailers.

Dang $130 or $140? What would one of these sites be? I might have to pick up one or two of those.

After just looking up some prices the sites that offered these once low prices have raised them up. jazztechnology.com is one. They have a 104 with software for $254 and another without software and 1 blank dvd-r for $243. Not quite as good as they were several weeks ago. The auction you mentioned does not come with Veritas Record Now DX witch is a must for ps2 burning. Jazz Technology's 104 with software comes with it. You can check them both out if you like.

The auction you mentioned does not come with Veritas Record Now DX witch is a must for ps2 burning.

BUT you can get Primo DVD to do your PS2 games....:cool:

MRJAMEZ: I deal with ebay quite often.... If you are patient, you can find a A04 (Full retail box) for around $225.00.... You can also find the 104 (exact same drive) for around $170.00...
Just remember, the A04 & 104 are the same thing.... There is no difference in the drives AT ALL..... The only difference at all, is wether or not it comes with software, box, cables.... or just the bare drive.....:cool:
