i dont know if this is the right forum to ask this but im a newbie :D

As some of u have already know im creating svcds with dvd2svcd and i dont have any complaints except that i dont know how to make the svcds work on stand alones. when i insert a disc, a small text appear in the upper left corner of my tv wich says CDDA is that right? i can play the movies on my computer though. I need a few tips, the guides on vcdhelp aint helping me so no links please.

depends if ur dvd player can play vcd/svcd or not (mine can)

cdda = compact disc digital audio, probably not what you want.

can u tell me how to make it say SVCD instead of CDDA?

make sure ur player recognizes svcd's in the manual, and go from there.

i fixed it. i switched authoring tool n now it works perfectly
