Ok for your question Cyber Akuma, guess what.
There will probably never be one. The files for any Squaresoft ps2 game are hidden. all you can see are the surface files.
Dont expect to ever get a ripkit for this game either.

Then would you mind explaning how a FFX ripper exsists? last I checked, FFX was made by squaresoft.

Yes it exists. Only because someone figured they could rip it. They shortly found out that the game is not liniar so it would take an endless number of discs to make a rip. People are not going to go through the hell they went through for FFX again especially since Squaresoft games are not liniar.

If you read my original message, I plan to rip THE INTRO MOVIE, not the entire game. I don't even have a dvd-r drive so ripping it woudl do jack for me. I just want to get the movie files, not the entire game.

Ok, maybe I didnt make myself clear. If no one wants to rip the game then no one will make an extracter for it.

listen to the guy,will ya?
Also, ripping is becoming a thing of the PAST.... Since dvd burner prices are coming down.....Not alot of people want to spend the time to RIP anything....
If you want to rip the intro so bad...... Sit down a rip it yourself.....
Otherwise you may be waiting awhile (or forever) until someone decides to do it....

Ahem, I DO want to rip it myself, if I could just extract the movie file I could likely encode it into a format the pc can read. The problem is just like FFX, all the files are hidden somehow.
BUT even on FFX......Someone sat down and figured it out.... You may be the one that has to do it on this game....

Heh, I would if I knew jack about how dvds and cds worked. :(
I thaught the files were just hidden somehow, I didnt know they were encoded or using their own special type of access method.

How about you go ask the same question at a ripping forum or something?
Go here http://forums.alucard.cc/cgi-bin/ib311/ikonboard.cgi
Goto DVD Ripping and enquire there, there are alot of rippers around there, I dont think there is any at fileforums.com?

Ripping movies off a PS2 game is much different then ripping from DVD.
The problrm isnt encoding the movie, the problem is getting it into a readable format on the pc first.

why not rip it into an iso, instead of a file at a time, then break up the iso using isobuster?
Cyber Akuma

The files are somehow hidden in the data track, I dont think an ISO would make the files viewable.
